Synq

Synq is built on a systems-level insight: behavior changes when incentive structures and environmental design change, not when individuals are told to try harder. Modern platforms centralized attention, gamified validation, and displaced physical interaction. Synq reverses that flow using the same technological sophistication, with fundamentally different optimization targets.
The Discover page is where users browse live activity sessions: basketball games, running clubs, hiking events, and join them. Visibility is determined by participation history and declared preferences, not popularity.
After an activity, users post a Moment: no likes, no comments, no algorithmic amplification. Moments are not designed for engagement, they are designed for memory. Where conventional platforms trigger validation-seeking through social feedback loops, Synq replaces that mechanism with a personal archive of lived experience. The dopamine is real; the source is different.
Connection is structured through one-on-one matching: two users enter a private 24-hour chat, they either become friends or the window closes. This mirrors the conditions under which friendships have always formed naturally, proximity, repetition, one person at a time, while eliminating ghosting and choice overload. A 365-friend cap and automatic expiry of inactive connections keep relationships intentional rather than accumulated.
The profile is a behavioral record: activity frequency, sports and hobbies, events hosted, trust level earned through verified attendance, and a bucket list of experiences the user wants to accomplish.
Underlying the entire platform is a data science layer oriented not toward content engagement, but toward human connection. By analyzing anonymized patterns of movement, activity co-participation, and social graph formation, Synq builds a continuously improving model of how friendships are initiated, sustained, and lost and uses that intelligence to connect people more effectively over time. The goal is not to maximize time spent on the platform. It is to make the time spent outside of it more meaningful.
