Project 90 - Swim Bench
The Project 90 Swim Bench is a steel-framed adaptive training system that enables a swimmer to practice and refine stroke mechanics in a controlled, supportive position. The device incorporates an adjustable incline mechanism that can be raised automatically while the athlete is on the bench, allowing progressive training and customization to the athlete’s needs.
A pulley and resistance band system provides adjustable resistance to build upper-body strength and reinforce proper stroke patterns. The bench will also integrate a user interface capable of tracking key performance metrics such as stroke rate, time on machine, and heart rate.
By combining mechanical design, assistive technology, and performance monitoring, Project 90 promotes equity and accessibility in sport, ensuring athletes and individuals with physical limitations have meaningful access to strength training, rehabilitation, and performance development opportunities.
