Genius Hour: Smart Circuits, Smarter Minds - Collaborative Classroom Workshop - April 15, 2026

Workshops
Deadline: April 15, 2026

Invent the future—starting with a virtual breadboard.

This session empowers students to build and simulate Arduino-driven circuits entirely online while using AI tools as creative collaborators.

In just one hour, students will learn to:

• Build circuits in Tinkercad’s virtual electronics lab

• Code using blocks or Arduino C

• Use AI tools to brainstorm and troubleshoot designs

• Explore how smart systems power IoT devices and automation

Why It’s Awesome: No hardware required—yet the experience mirrors real engineering workflows enhanced by AI-supported problem solving.

Who It’s For:  Middle school teachers and students interested in / learning about robotics & engineering, STEM & Makerspaces, coding, and future-ready tech programs

What Classroom need for the Hands-on Activity:

  • A classroom computer with access to both platforms (webcam/mic, optional)
  • Student devices with access to Tinkercad.com (free, Gmail login available) and an AI assistant tool (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT)
