Empowering Aspiring Innovators

Our mission is to empower aspiring innovators aged 16-30 by providing a platform that fosters diversity, resilience, empathy and collaboration. Through this platform, we simplify access to critical innovation supports such as training & skills development, funding, community building, and mentorship while creating a supportive ecosystem where young innovators can develop adaptive mindsets, pursue curiosity-driven learning, and build innovative solutions to real-world problems. By connecting youth with mentors, industry experts and peers, we nurture leadership and collaboration skills that drive positive change. Over the next decade, our platform will cultivate a nation of innovators that equips youth to lead with impact, contributing to sustainable social and economic growth in their communities and beyond.

Our Impact

Insights into Future-Ready Youth

In 2013 MindFuel introduced its immersive youth innovation program and has demonstrated that when youth have access to prosperity tools such as STEM skills development workshops, mentor networks, academic and industry subject matter experts, project funding, then youth will develop interests early on that are critical to outcomes such as understanding the innovation cycle, STEM post-secondary pursuits, collaboration, and critical thinking.

A ten-year impact study was completed on MindFuel innovation programming featuring Explore our growing legacy through these featured publications and reports:

  • ATTITUDINAL SHIFTS:

    • 87% of youth indicated that as a result of the programs, they now have an interest in innovation and entrepreneuralism.

  • ECONOMIC IMPACTS & LONG-TERM OUTCOMES

    • 30 viable innovation projects -> 9 spun out into companies (as of June 2024)

    • $33.5M investment capital raised

    • 138 employment positions created

    • 23 patents, trade secrets filed

    • $13M in revenues recorded
