Genius Hour: Smart Circuits, Smarter Minds - Collaborative Classroom Workshop - April 15, 2026
Invent the future—starting with a virtual breadboard.
This session empowers students to build and simulate Arduino-driven circuits entirely online while using AI tools as creative collaborators.
In just one hour, students will learn to:
• Build circuits in Tinkercad’s virtual electronics lab
• Code using blocks or Arduino C
• Use AI tools to brainstorm and troubleshoot designs
• Explore how smart systems power IoT devices and automation
Why It’s Awesome: No hardware required—yet the experience mirrors real engineering workflows enhanced by AI-supported problem solving.
Who It’s For: Middle school teachers and students interested in / learning about robotics & engineering, STEM & Makerspaces, coding, and future-ready tech programs
What Classroom need for the Hands-on Activity:
- A classroom computer with access to both platforms (webcam/mic, optional)
- Student devices with access to Tinkercad.com (free, Gmail login available) and an AI assistant tool (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT)
